1. What is ECT Games?

ECT Games is an online gaming platform where players can compete in casual games, track their scores on a leaderboard, and win exciting rewards.

2. How do I participate in ECT Games events?

To join:

Create a GDevelop account at https://gd.games
Fill out the Registration Form with your correct email and GDevelop username
Go to the ECT Games page and start playing the available games!

3. Do I need to pay to participate?

Nope! ECT Games is currently free to play for all eligible participants.

4. Why do I need a GDevelop account?

Your game score are tracked through your GDevelop account. This helps us display accurate scores on the leaderboard and determine winners fairly.

5. How does the leaderboard work?

The leaderboard updates in real-time (or periodically) based on your best score. If two players get the same score, the player who reached it first will rank higher.

6. Can I play the games more than once?

Yes! You can play as many times as you like. However, only your highest valid score will be considered for the leaderboard.

7. What if I entered the wrong email or username during registration?

If your email or GDevelop username is incorrect, we may not be able to track your score or deliver your reward. Please ensure your details are correct before submitting the form.

8. What kind of rewards can I win?

Top players can win:

💸 Real Cash (Sri Lankan players only)
🎮 Gift Cards (Sri Lankan and International players)
🏆 Recognition on the Winners Wall (Sri Lankan and International players)

Specific rewards may vary by event.

9. How will I receive my reward if I win?

Winners will be contacted via the email address provided during registration. Make sure it's valid and accessible!

10. Can I get disqualified?

Yes. Players may be disqualified for:

Submitting fake details
Cheating, exploiting bugs, or using third-party tools
Breaking the Rules & Regulations

11. Who can participate in ECT Games?

Currently, ECT Games is available only for players residing in Sri Lanka. We plan to expand internationally in the near future!

12. Do I need to be in Sri Lanka to receive rewards?

Yes. At this time, rewards are only distributed to participants within Sri Lanka. If you're outside Sri Lanka, you can still play for fun, but you won't be eligible for leaderboard ranking or prizes.

13. Can I join an event that's already started?

Absolutely!
You can join any ongoing ECT Games event at any time during the competition period. Even if you start late, you still have a fair chance to climb the leaderboard by scoring high. So don’t wait — jump in, play smart, and you could be the next winner!

14. Can players outside Sri Lanka participate in ECT Games?

Yes! ECT Games is now open to both Sri Lankan and International players. All players can compete and appear on the leaderboard.

15. What rewards do international players receive?

International players are eligible for digital gift cards based on their country.
Examples:

USA: PSN Gift Cards
India: Amazon India Gift Cards
UK: Amazon UK or Steam Wallet Cards

❗ Cash rewards are given only to players residing in Sri Lanka.

16. Can I play if I’m under 18 years old?

Yes, but only if you have your parent or guardian’s consent.
Players under 18 years old, must confirm that they are playing with permission.
